Pathfinders RC&D board member and Hometown Harvest Leadership Team Member, Willie Van Weelden, is raising 80 turkeys on his farm near Oskaloosa that will be ready for Thanksgiving. They are free range enjoying sunshine and grass, but not organic, as he has no source for organic feed.
The price will be $2/pound dressed. He has both hens and toms so the weight will range from 13 to 22 pounds, more or less.
